City of Arcadia
Station Site:
The City of Arcadia continues to have two potential station sites. Both sites and designs under study are located near the diagonal crossing of the intersection of North First Avenue and East Santa Clara Avenue within the rail right-of-way.
UPDATE! Passage of Arcadia's April 11th Measure A Bond has put Option #2 at the forefront for station, parking and alignment design for the Arcadia Metro Gold Line Foothill Extension. Please see Station Option #2, below, for details on station location and the planned grade separation. Click here to see the Arcadia Weekly article on the Bond passage.
- Station Option 1: The station site would be located northwest of the intersection of North First Avenue and East Santa Clara Street. The station will have a center platform, with access from the southeast end of the platform via the corner of North First Street and East Santa Clara Avenue. This option assumes that Santa Anita Avenue is an at-grade (street level) crossing.

- Station Option 2: If the City (Arcadia) approves a grade separation and its associated costs, the station will be located southeast of the intersection of North First Avenue and East Santa Clara Street, a short block away from the main commercial area on Huntington Drive. The station would have side platforms, with access from the northwest end of the platforms via the corner of North First Street and East Santa Clara Avenue.
